My Birthday Weekend

I celebrated my birthday this weekend with my grabdaughter and family. My birthday was really August 3rd but we wanted to wait for Eva to return from florida to celebrate. Everyone wanted to see her we had not seen her for a month and it was way to long. We had a great time. We had bought her a little Dora pool when she was a way and she got to try it out she loved it. We put her in the pool in a Dora sprikler and she played with the water table. We went to the beach. I made a cake with Peppa Pig and family on it. IT was a fantastic time.

It was not so bad to day here in Staten Island. It rained last night and brought the tempature down about 10 degrees.  It was still hot so I decided to go in the pool we just bought for our granddaughter.

It did feel nice...  

Today in New York City it was to hot to bake. It was 100 degrees. Hopefully it will be cooler tomorrow. Check out one of my favorite blogs Halfbaked not to hot to look at cakes.

Hey Everyone, Hope your day is not so hot.  We enjoyed the hummingbird cake it was a little over cooked but still delious.  Unfortunaltey my camaera broke so i hve no photos but hopefullu i will get  anew one soon.

Hi, I am completey addicted to baking I have to hurry before my husband comes home to bake. When you  as i call it sneak bake before you heat up the house in 95 degree tempature. Today I made a HUMMINBIRD CAKE. I cant wait for you all to try it the details will follow tomorrow. OH THEIR ARE NO HUMMINGBIRDS IN IT  LOL.
